Testing requirements are always established and agreed upon during development and typically reflect the unique requirements of the given program. Our in-house capabilities, along with our local partner test facilities, allow us to have complete control over all our testing requirements from development through production.
Engineering Process and Risk Mitigation
Using industry-accepted engineering practices aligned with MIL-STD-810 and DO-160, our design process identifies areas of risk.
Furthermore, simulation, analysis, and actual testing are performed to mitigate design flaws. We regularly prototype our designs, and in some cases prototyping is iterative with multiple phases. Holding preliminary design reviews (PDR) and critical design reviews (CDR) with our customers further mitigates design risk prior to entering the qualification and production phases.
Data Packages and Deliverables
Our engineering team provides detailed data packages, performance curves, and failure-mode insights for system integration, certification, and qualification.
Typical data deliverables for any testing performed during development and/or production include:
- Acceptance test logs – Accompanying each part and production run performed
- Qualification test logs – Generated specifically for each product during development programs, alongside acceptance test logs
